The Clare Jam Company Ltd reserves the right to refuse sale of goods.
Our invoices are issued in Euros only.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Irish Law. Place of Litigation is the Republic of Ireland. These conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, and the customer submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Laws.
We accept Visa and Master credit and debit cards.
We do not carry out an order without having received payment by the person ordering.
Time of payment: We will charge the credit card on receipt of the order either manually, or if the order is placed online, immediately through Stripe.
Our website and the website checkout are secure. No credit or debit card details will be saved online.
Delivery of products on offer subject to availability.
We deliver to destinations in Ireland and Northern Ireland only.
The Dispatch day is every Tuesday except for Irish bank holidays. The courier services will not operate on Saturdays, Sundays and national/local holidays.
Delays in transit are the sole responsibility of the courier service, unless the delays are caused by the customer (wrong or incomplete delivery address, wrong or missing phone number). Either way, the Clare Jam Company Ltd will not be able to accept responsibility nor give refunds/replacement orders.
We cannot guarantee a delivery on exactly the dates requested due to unforeseen circumstances over which we have no influence.
If the courier service cannot reach anybody at the delivery address stipulated in the order, the driver is not obliged to make extensive inquiries, phone calls and arrangements to deliver.
The delivery charges are automatically added to the costs of the products as part of the process of submitting the order online. The delivery charges can be seen before proceeding to the checkout.
Important info on Ordering and Shipping
You can place your order any time you want for a delivery in the future.
We dispatch on Tuesdays only. There is no dispatch on Irish Public Holidays.
How to order online
It is easy to place an order on our secure website. First, select the products you want to buy. Then click on the shopping basket symbol on the top right-hand corner of the page and fill in all the details in the checkout process.
Refunds or returns
Should the goods delivered be either faulty or the wrong ones, we will either refund or re-send the (correct) goods. The complaint has to be lodged with us within 5 working days.
Cancellation of orders
Orders can be cancelled in writing (by email, letter) up to 24 hours before the scheduled shipment date. Once the goods have been dispatched, a cancellation of the orders and a refund is not possible anymore due to the perishable nature of the goods.
Our database is strictly confidential to the business purposes of the Clare Jam Company Ltd.
Any data given by the customer will not be shared and only used to process orders. Credit card details are not stored online for security reasons.
